Coming Out of the Fog
Posted by Nancy under: Coaching Tools .
Since the beginning of the New Year, many of my clients have been telling me that they feel as though they have been in a massive fog, that they’ve lost their way or that they just don’t have the same sense of passion they once had–in their business, in their relationship, in their lives. Some are barely keeping their heads above water with how challenging their lives feel right now, while others are reinventing, rediscovering, reawakening themselves.
I can relate to that. My life has felt like one great big fog for the last year as I’ve struggled with the loss of loved ones and the painfully relentless aftermath of death. As I am trying to recalibrate myself, and find the New Normal, I have felt the most remarkable shift in the past 2 weeks. Maybe it’s the longer days. Maybe it’s the astrological movements taking place starting January 21st when the sun entered Aquarius, known for its focus on brother/sisterhood and humanitarian efforts. Maybe it’s the Olympics and the attendant siren call of We Are One, We Are the World.
Or maybe it’s as simple as the emergence of Spring, because it feels like I’m being renewed. Feeling that passion again for my work, for connecting with others, for moving forward.
It feels really good to feel the fog lifting and the Light pouring in.
